Created by Francis Kurkdjian, Dior’s Perfume Creative Director, this richer interpretation pushes the famous Sauvage freshness into deeper, woodier territory with bergamot, lavender, Vietnamese oud, patchouli, vetiver and cedarwood. Matured and macerated for 42 days, it delivers a dense, long-lasting trail with smoky, leathery and aromatic depth.

What Does Sauvage Extrait Smell Like?
Sauvage Extrait is a woody-aromatic fragrance with fresh citrus, lavender, smoky oud and powerful noble woods:
- Top Notes: Calabrian bergamot and AOP lavender from Provence create a fresh, aromatic opening with the recognisable Sauvage brightness.
- Heart Notes: Vietnamese oud essence brings a deep, instinctive character with leathery, honeyed and frankincense-like facets.
- Base Notes: Indonesian patchouli, Madagascan vetiver and Virginia cedarwood create a rich woody dry-down that feels smoky, creamy, earthy and intensely masculine.
